The homeowner has already decided to fix it

By the time a MyCool Home referral reaches you, the house has been assessed, the upgrade has been specified, and the owner has seen what it returns against their own bill. You are quoting work, not creating demand.

Who this is for

Two ways in, depending on your size

What we ask is the same either way. What differs is how work reaches you, and how much of it you can hold at once.

Lane A

Installers and trades

Best if you work one or two categories across a handful of suburbs and take jobs on yourself.

Referrals routed by category, postcode and current capacity
You accept or decline each one, nothing is auto-assigned
Quote against a specification the owner has already read
Your standing comes from completed work, and cannot be bought
Lane B

Suppliers and enterprise

Best if you run multiple branches or crews, or you manufacture what our models specify.

Coverage defined by region and branch, not a single postcode
Product catalogue mapped to the upgrade types our models specify
API access for job status and volume reporting
A named contact for programme-level coordination
What lands in your inbox

A scored report, not a name and a number

Every referral arrives attached to the report the homeowner already has. Same document, same numbers, so you and the owner are reading from one page before you ever speak.

01
The ComfortScore, and what moves it
One number for how the house performs now, and the specific things holding it back.
02
The envelope, measured not guessed
Construction, orientation, glazing and insulation, captured on site by an accredited assessor.
03
The upgrade the model specified
Performance, not a brand. If what you fit meets the specification, it qualifies.
04
What the owner has already seen
They have read the same report and know why this work was recommended.

Working together

What you can expect, and what we would ask

Set side by side on purpose. If one list is doing all the work, it is not much of a partnership.

What you can expect from us
Every time, without asking
The full report before you quote, with the score, the construction and the specified upgrade
One partner per referral. You are not racing three other trades to the phone
An owner who already knows what the work is for, so the conversation starts further along
A rating built from finished jobs, which reflects the work you have actually done
Work inside your categories and your patch, and nothing outside what you told us
What we would ask of you
Five things, and that is the list
Keep your licence and insurance current. We check in once a year
Let us know within a couple of days whether a referral suits you. A no is genuinely fine
Quote against the specification we sent, so the owner can compare like with like
If the job changes once you are on site, tell us why. The model learns from it
Stay inside the specified scope unless the owner asks you for more
How it works

How the arrangement works

First

You tell us what you fit and where

Categories of work, service area, and the capacity you can actually take on. We only route work that matches all three.

Then

We verify before you appear

Trade licence checked against the state register and public liability confirmed in date. Both are rechecked, not just taken once.

Ongoing

Homeowners rate the work, not us

Your standing comes from the owners we referred to you. We do not adjust it, and we do not sell position in it.

Standing behind it

Why this is worth your licence number

Award
Winner, Environment and Energy Efficiency

Accreditation
Accredited assessor network

Every assessment is carried out by an accredited assessor, not a salesperson.

Independence
We do not sell the work

We are not in the quote, the job or the payment. The relationship is yours once you accept.

Before you apply

The questions we actually get asked

How is this different from the lead sites I already use?

Those sell you contact details, usually to several trades at once, before anyone has established what the house needs. Here the assessment happens first, the upgrade is specified by the model, and the report goes to one partner.

What happens if I cannot take a job on?

Decline it. Declining does not count against your standing, because routing work to someone with no capacity helps nobody. What does count is leaving a referral unanswered.

Do I have to use particular products?

No. The model specifies performance, not a brand. If the product you fit meets the specification, it qualifies.

Who owns the relationship with the homeowner?

You do, once the referral is accepted. We are not in the middle of the quote, the job, or the payment.

How many referrals will I actually get?

The programme is early and we will not pretend otherwise. We will tell you what coverage looks like in your service area when we come back to you, rather than quote a number we cannot stand behind.

Apply to the Foundation Partner Program

Tell us what you fit and where you work. We will come back to you about coverage in your service area.

We use these details only to assess coverage in your service area and to contact you about the program. Nothing reaches a homeowner until you accept a referral.
