Your home is telling you something. We read it.

Cold in July, stifling in January, dearer every quarter. A ComfortScore shows you where the comfort is leaking away, what it costs you, and which fix earns its money back first.

What we measure

Four readings decide whether a house is comfortable

Fabric

Ceiling, walls, floor and glazing. Where heat actually crosses the boundary, and in which direction.

Air

Draughts, sealing and ventilation. The losses no amount of heating output can outrun.

Plant

What heats and cools the rooms, how efficiently, and whether it is sized for the space it serves.

Cost

Your tariff, your usage, your distribution network. Every saving we quote is capped by this figure.

Envelope

Winter — where the warmth leaves

Comfort leaks both ways, and the same weak point often does the damage in both seasons. Which surface matters most is specific to your house, which is why the assessment measures rather than assumes.

    How the assessment works

    An assessment, not a questionnaire

The score comes from your building, your climate zone and your tariff. Where we estimate rather than measure, the report says so and shows you what it would take to firm the number up.

    Why we are different

Most tools hand you a report. We hand the report to an installer.

A plan you cannot act on is just a document. When you are ready, we brief an accredited installer near you on the house before they call, so the quote that arrives is comparable to the others and specific to your building.

We take no commission on the work, which is why the ranking never changes depending on who is available.

What an installer meets before we will refer you

    Licensing
Current trade licence verified against the state register
    Insurance
Public liability held and in date at the time of referral
    Workmanship
Rated by the homeowners we referred, not by us
    Quoting
Itemised against the upgrade as specified in your plan

No saving we quote can exceed the bill you pay

This is the rule the whole product is built on. If an upgrade cannot pay for itself against your actual tariff, the plan says that plainly instead of quietly widening the assumptions until it does.

    Your actual bill
    The number we start from

Read from your own tariff and usage, not a national average.

    The most we can quote
    Never more than that bill

If an upgrade cannot pay back against it, the plan says so instead of widening the assumptions.

What the plan claims back, against your bill Example
    we never quote past here
The three upgrades that pay back Your bill — the ceiling
    Ceiling insulation Draught sealing Reverse-cycle
    Upgrade Comfort Payback
    Ceiling insulation to R6.0 Shortest
    Draught sealing, whole house Short
    Reverse-cycle replacement Medium
Double glazing, living areas Does not pay back at this tariff

The fourth one is the point. Double glazing would improve comfort here, but at this tariff it does not return its cost inside its life, so the plan excludes it and says why. Your own report is modelled from your tariff and usage, so a different house gets a different list — and sometimes a shorter one.
